Intermediate Training for Sweep Testing
This is hands on-training to learn the techniques of reading line sweeps.
The training includes troubleshooting lines, jumpers and connectors.
What is taught? The "tricks of the trade" are taught by an experienced professional with over 15 years of field testing experience. The class will learn to read line sweeps trouble shoot lines, jumpers and connectors. Proper procedures to prevent the many costly problems that come from poor installations and the use of the wrong tools will be covered. Many systems pass sweep tests but deteriorate in a short period due to "hidden" installation problems that are not apparent to the average tester.
Who should attend? This training is for individuals with basic knowledge of line sweeping. They should know how to set up their equipment and perform tests.
What to bring to class? Test gear, sample line sweep test results, sample jumper assemblies, 8' to 10' or longer feeder lines and connectors. They should also bring any cable preparation tools that are used for connector installations.
Class size? Training is best limited to about 10 people.
